Weapon Moves:

X-Slash:  Nikta slashes out at her opponent in a downward, cross-wise motion, forming an X if the slash makes contact with the opponent.

Spinning Slash: Nikta spins with her swords extended, slashing at her opponent.

Special Moves:

Eclipse: Nikta creates a dark cloud that covers her opponent so that he or she cannot see, leaving them open for her attack.

Sunset Stomp: Similar to Quan Chi's tele-stomp, Nikta disappears only to reappear above her opponent, then stomps them as she lands.

Invisibility: Utilizing her command of the night, Nikta wraps herself within the darkness, making her appear to be invisible to her opponents.

Weapon Fatality: 

Ribbon Slice: Nikta uses her dual swords to slice her opponent repeatedly until he or she falls apart as a bloody ribbon.

Final Night: Nikta makes the entire area go dark.  Nothing can be seen, but the opponent's screams can be heard.  When the light returns, the opponent is left as a bloody skeleton.

Enchain the Night: Nikta commands the darkness to form a chain that wraps itself around the opponent, then squeezes until the opponent explodes.

Story:

Nikta is the oldest of two sisters from a parallel realm known as Tectra, which had fallen when the Shao Kahn in their dimension invaded.  Nikta's father, Ammon, the Tectran god of the skies and the protector of the realm, died to protect his wife and daughters from capture.  Jiana was captured, despite her husband's sacrifice, but both Nikta and her younger sister, Kwannon, escaped.

Nikta vowed that one day she and her sister will return to free their realm and their mother from Kahn's clutches, as well as to avenge their father's death.   Wandering from realm to realm seeking allies, Nikta and Kwannon encountered Rai, who promptly invited them both to join the Medevan pantheon.  Rai offered to train them and aid them when they were strong enough to face Kahn.

Nikta is a very serious person, rarely smiles or takes jokes.  She puts a lot of pressure upon herself to succeed in everything.   She is very protective of Kwannon, as she is the only loved one she has left.
